The First Day
Ok, perhaps it is cliche — today is the first day of the rest of your life. The first day of the rest of my life occured on April 1, 2009.
That was the day that I decided that it was time I take charge of my life and find a way to quit my day job. It was on that day that I was handed a new boss, a woman who insisted that I work 20 hour days, despite the fact that I am the mom of two young daughters, one of whom has cerebral palsy.
Like it or quit. That was my option. I can not quit. Not yet.
My goal is to quit by the end of 2009.
This is my journey. Perhaps yours is similar. Starting from scratch to learn how to make money online.
Please join me. Share your thoughts, your encouragment, your knowledge. Let us learn from and support one another. Together let us regain our freedom.

Norene, your story echoes many (including my own) in terms of the unreasonable of some bosses
I hope that you’re moving closer to your goal
Keep on truckin’ !

Hi Noreen,
I too had made my mind up to quit my day job my August. Interestingly enough, the Universe took control and I was laid off a few weeks ago…a little ahead of schedule.
I applaud you for daring to make the change. It will happen…just stick to it.
I too am taking a class…John Thornhill’s Marketing Masterclass which has given me direction and inspired me among all the other great things I am learning.
I know you guys in Alex’s class will learn a lot of great tips and techniques, so I am going to follow along with some of you to learn…;)
Lots of luck to you in your quest for freedom!

Hi Norene,
I too have the same passion as you….to quit the job and be at home.
I have a 7 year old daughter I want to see grow up and my Step Son Paul has Cerebral Palsy and needs 24/7 care from my wife and I. We know how hard it is.
Keep on keeping on Norene, you’ll make it!
Take care and be in touch.

Hi Norene
Its good to see that you have taken the first step to taking control of your life, I’m sure you are not alone, I also put myself in the bracket of being a busy idiot, always working and just keeping my head above water.
Lets hops this venture brings a lot of success to us all!
Regards
Pete

Hi Norene,
What a day to mark the occasion! “April Fool’s Day” – bosses and working for someone else – I see the correlation. I’m on the same path and echo everyone else, time for action! Whoops! I got excited!
Falling forward,
~ Julie
