Hi Norene,

The importance of providing a good content is paramount and you put it very well in your post.

Sometimes it is very difficult to assess what your readers will value the most.

I's not always what I think anyway. Sometimes it's the very opposite.

The only way to write posts is to be authentic, to always keep your readers in mind without forgetting to be yourself as well.

I find that when I do that, those who visit stay on for a considerable time.

Thanks for continually giving helpful tips.

Vance

Hi Norene,

You always write well crafted articles that are worth reading.
I hadn't realised that the amount of time spent on a site had an impact on rankings, but when you think about it, it makes sense.

Thanks for all your tips.
John

Thanks Mick! I am learning a lot about presentation and marketing through watching what happens on my blog based on what I post! How long folks stick around does seem to make a huge difference! -Norene

Hi Roger,
Yes, I found that concept interesting too. I think it makes sense to have several posts that are so extraordinary that they bring in a consistent flow of traffic. -Norene

Hi Norene - it's an old cliche I know, but "Quality Counts" !

I was particularly interested that you mentioned "pillar articles". This is an expression that I have read in the writing of Yaro Starak. I think that this something we should all pay more attention to ... "evergreen" content will always be more likely to attract more traffic.

All the best,

Roger

Hi Norene

Great idea the weekly wrap up.

I love posts like this - quality information and links to others too.

There certainly is an art to writing quality posts - I am writing my next 'Sue's Simple Strategy' report on this subject!

Regards
